Privacy Policy
How Nutrigram handles your data.
This policy explains what information Nutrigram may collect, why we use it, and how you can request deletion.

Overview
Nutrigram is an AI calorie tracker and food macro counter. The app helps you scan food, estimate calories and macros, view progress, receive nutrition insights, and optionally sync data through cloud services.
Information We May Collect
- Account details such as name, email address, sign-in provider, and user ID.
- Food photos or text you choose to submit for AI analysis.
- Nutrition history, meal plans, health coach messages, app settings, and notification preferences.
- Device identifiers, crash data, performance data, product interaction data, and analytics used to keep the app reliable.
- Advertising or reward activity when ads are enabled.
- Purchase or payment-related status only if paid features are enabled in a future version or through a supported store/payment provider.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide food image analysis, calorie and macro estimates, meal plans, app login, cloud backup and restore, reminders, reports, support, fraud prevention, app reliability, and product improvement.
Photos, AI, and Nutrition Results
Before Nutrigram sends information to an AI service, the app asks for your consent. When you agree and use food scan, meal plans, food corrections, or the health coach, Nutrigram sends the food photo you choose, typed meal details you enter, and relevant nutrition context through Nutrigram's server to Groq, a third-party AI service, to estimate calories, macros, meal plans, and health coach replies. Please avoid photos that include faces, documents, or sensitive personal information. Nutrigram does not send your password or full payment card details to Groq. Nutrition results are estimates and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Third-Party Services
Nutrigram uses Groq for AI nutrition and coaching features, Firebase for authentication, cloud backup, push messaging, analytics, and app reliability, Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple for login, Google Mobile Ads where ads are enabled, and payment providers only where paid features are enabled in a supported store or future version. These providers process information according to their own policies and security practices.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help operate Nutrigram, when required by law, to protect users and the app, to provide a feature you request, or with your consent.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain backups.
Your Choices
- You can skip sign-in for local-only use where available.
- You can manage camera, photo, and notification permissions on your device.
- You can clear local app data in Nutrigram settings.
- You can request deletion of account and cloud data using the data deletion instructions below.
Children
Nutrigram is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, or service providers change. The latest version will be available on this page.
